When sun-bathing, they are able to convert the sunlight into healing moves such as Photosynthesis or attacking moves such as Solar Beam .

When they're not protecting their trainers and friends, they are normally seen lounging around in the sun and gathering energy.

Trivia[]
- Despite being able to learn Vine Whip and breed with Masukippa, who is able to learn Power Whip , Fushigidane is unable to obtain said move by breeding.
Origins[]
Bulbasaur's English name comes from the words bulb and saur, which is Greek for lizard. Fushigidane's Japanese name comes from the word fushigina, meaning "strange, isn't it?" or "how strange", and is a pun on 不思議種 fushigidane, meaning strange seed.
